When subscription and pay-per-report payments are — and are not — refundable.
Last updated June 18, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains when payments to FireDash are and are not refundable. It is part of, and incorporated by reference into, our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service. FireDash is operated by Wrights Creative Services, L.L.C. ("FireDash", "we", "us", or "our").
FireDash is billed two ways, and the rules differ for each:
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing billing@firedash.us. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current paid term, and you keep access through the end of that term.
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable, and we do not provide prorated refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, for time during which your account was open but unused, or for downgrades made mid-term, except where required by law. Where we offer a free trial, your payment method is not charged during the trial, and you may cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
Report certificates are digital goods that are delivered immediately. When you pay to generate a certificate, we create and make the certificate available to you right away and record a verifiable entry for it so that third parties (for example, an insurer or lender) can later confirm it is genuine at verify.firedash.us.
Because the certificate is generated and delivered as soon as you pay, pay-per-report purchases are non-refundable once the certificate has been generated. By generating a certificate, you request immediate delivery of a digital product and acknowledge that you lose any right of withdrawal or "cooling-off" cancellation once generation is complete.
How long a generated certificate remains available to re-download depends on the product. A resident Insurance Distance Proof can be downloaded for a limited period after it is generated (currently twenty-four (24) hours); a RiskDash report certificate can be re-downloaded at no additional charge for as long as the report exists in your account. The re-download window does not extend or create any refund right.
We will review and, where appropriate, refund a pay-per-report charge in situations such as:
To request a refund in one of these cases, email billing@firedash.us within thirty (30) days of the charge with your account email and the receipt or certificate number. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method; the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. Dissatisfaction with the content or result of a correctly generated report (for example, the distance or score it reports) is not, by itself, a basis for a refund, because the report accurately reflects the data and methodology described in-product.
If you bought a subscription or a report through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is processed by the app store, and refunds are handled by the app store under its own policies — we are not able to refund an app-store purchase directly. Request those refunds through Apple or Google. Manage or cancel an in-app subscription from your device's subscription settings.
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact billing@firedash.us before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer, so we can resolve it quickly. We reserve the right to suspend access to the Services, and to the certificates associated with a disputed payment, while a chargeback is pending.
